I am currently working as a Database Administrator for Wonga.com.
I hold an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Oxford where I studied as a member of Exeter College (the college Edgar F. Codd studied at).
Over my 11 years career in IT I have passed 20 certification exams and have become (among other things):
- a PRINCE2 Practitioner
- an MCSE (Data Platform)
- an MCITP (Business Intelligence Developer)
- an IBM Certified Specialist
- and a SCSecA
I have been a professional member of the BCS since 2007.
In 2009 I have been awarded a Panasonic Trust Award from the Royal Academy of Engineering.
